Bloocrima’s Ascent is designed for a party of three or four 3rd-level characters who are detectives of an investigator squad led by Ethan Ward. This adventure, set in Kanrath and Cyherested, is a short noir mystery of Bloodpunk 5E. Ethan Ward is a key NPC in the Heritage of the Damned; a depressed detective who crosses paths with the characters. Bloocrima’s Ascent takes place five years before the events of the Heritage of the Damned and it tells the story behind Ethan’s grumpy, melancholic nature.
