Description
There are whispers across all of Emyncalen that the more powerful enemies of the Queen are dealt with by Megil – The Queen’s Unseen Dagger. If this is true, only the Queen and Megil herself know. In scattered moments of combat, Megil will appear. Some say she is not even human. Some say she can vanish with the winds. Amidst battles, her black silk form and distinctly painted leather facemask can be discerned. She is never seen before the battle, and never found to thank afterwards or ask any payment. When an enemy of the Queen is found dead, or not found at all, Megil’s name is heard by speculating voices. Megil makes no attempt to silence these rumors. The times they are not true make her smile. The times they are true make her laugh. Tonight, she will give them reason to laugh.
